        Hi Ingrid & Onno,
I just read your stories so far, and viewed the beautiful pictures. To enjoy.
Several 'exercises in patience' have already entered your African path, eh. Tired no worrie no… you solve it and go on. Long live adventure!
Enjoy further, good continuation and love,
        Angelic

          Hi Angélique and Erik,
Thank you for these sweet words. We already have some African blood running through our veins, so our goal is not necessarily Cairo, but the journey itself. We'll see how it develops. There is bound to be more “adventure” on our path, both positive and challenging 🙂

      Hi,
      Nice to hear from you!
We are still in Cape Town, but have good hope that we will have the car early next week.
The weather is great here, so that makes waiting a bit sweeter;). Think that the South African winter is warmer and sunnier than the Dutch summer :).
Nice that you travel with us and see you next year!
      Greetings,

Hi Onno and Ingrid, nice site and I will follow you! PMC site then on the back burner… .. or Jan has to squeeze out a nice Autumn tour 😉 Good luck and… .. Keep the polished side up (sailors expression).

    • Onno & Ingrid
      Onno & Ingrid says:

      Hi Michel,
The PMC will be fine in the fall, Jan is probably a very good replacement!
We will try to keep the polished side up, but usually after some off-road driving and mud it is often no longer clear which side was polished.
Have fun with the "famous sea", or are you on the road with something else :).
      Regards,
      Onno & Ingrid

I enjoyed your travel reports. It evoked many memories for a time gone by for me. Bad roads, stuck, the many animals, the landscape. But also new, the good roads, the cities. It is a pity that Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt were no longer there, because that also has a lot to offer. I wish you a good journey home.

Thank you for following us. Always nice when you pick up memories when traveling from another weather, how nice the brain is. It is indeed a shame that the more northerly African countries have not succeeded, but that has enabled us to enjoy the other countries all the more. You sometimes have to make choices. We certainly look back on a very beautiful adventure. We also wish you many beautiful journeys!
